10 five-star daycare review examples
“The teachers here are so caring and patient. My son is shy and took a while to settle in, and they never rushed him. They gave him space, gentle encouragement and lots of warmth. It is obvious they genuinely love what they do.”
“My daughter literally runs to the door every morning because she is so excited to go. As a parent, watching your child love their daycare that much tells you everything you need to know. Could not be happier.”
“The communication is incredible. I get a daily update with photos, what she ate, her nap times and the activities they did. I never have to wonder how her day went. It gives me so much peace of mind while I am at work.”
“The facility is spotless and clearly very safe. Secure entry, clean classrooms, sanitized toys and a fenced outdoor play area. You can tell hygiene and safety are taken seriously here, which matters so much with little ones.”
“We have watched our son grow so much since starting here. He is learning his letters, numbers and colors, and his speech has come along beautifully. The structured but playful curriculum really works for him.”
“Drop-off is quick and stress-free, which is a lifesaver on busy mornings. The staff greet every child by name and our daughter is happily settled within a minute. Only small wish would be a few more parking spots out front.”
“The flexible hours have been a game changer for our family. As shift workers, finding childcare that works around our schedule felt impossible until we found this center. They have been so accommodating and understanding.”
“The meals are fresh, nutritious and clearly made with care. My picky eater is now trying vegetables he would never touch at home. They share the weekly menu in advance and accommodate his dairy allergy without any fuss.”
“They were absolutely amazing through potty training. They kept it consistent with what we were doing at home, stayed positive and patient, and updated us every step of the way. We honestly could not have done it without them.”
“This place feels like family. The staff know our whole family, celebrate every milestone with us and truly treat my daughter like their own. Leaving your child somewhere is scary, but here I feel completely at ease. Highly recommend.”

How to write a good review for a daycare
A great review is specific, honest and easy to read. Here is how to write a review for a childcare center that other parents will actually find useful.
- Name what stood out. Mention specific things like the caring staff, daily updates, clean facility or nutritious meals instead of just saying "great place."
- Talk about your child. Share how your child feels and how they have grown, such as loving drop-off, learning new skills or settling in happily.
- Mention the people. Naming a caregiver or teacher who went above and beyond means a lot to the staff and reassures other parents.
- Keep it honest and balanced. If you give four stars, a kind note on what could improve is more credible and helpful than vague praise.
- Note practical details. Things like flexible hours, smooth drop-off, communication and safety help busy parents decide quickly.
- Keep it readable. Two to five sentences is plenty. You do not need to cover everything, just what mattered most to your family.
Got a negative review? Respond, don't argue
Even excellent daycares get the occasional critical review. The worst thing you can do is get defensive in public. Reply calmly, thank the parent, acknowledge their concern and offer to talk privately. Our guide to responding to Google reviews walks through exactly what to say.
